Higher Education Digitalization Conference in Ulaanbaatar
The TACTIC consortium is meeting again in Ulaanbaatar on May 7th to 8th. Our partner, University of the Humanities, is co-hosting the conference discussing digitalization supporting management at HEIs. The invited speakers from Ireland and Austria will tackle the problem of digitalization strategy and the process of passing from paper-based to digitalized solutions. Higher Education Management Innovation Conference
On December 4th – 8th, 2017 the TACTIC consortium met in Hanoi, Vietnam. The first day of the TACTIC consortium meeting was opened by the public conference co-organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). We hosted international speakers from Lithuania, Belgium and United Kingdom who spoke about financial management of HEIs and autonomy of their finances. After the conference the TACTIC consortium discussed essential issues such as project progress, completed/ planned activities in 2018 and accomplished/ missed deadlines in 2017. The focus was given on the establishment of Staff Advisory Offices (SAO), our key outcome of the project.

The 2017 training season was completed by the two-week internship in Europe co-hosted by all four TACTIC European universities - Tallinn University of Technology, Université Perpignan Via Domitia, Brno University of Technology and Masaryk University. Each Asian HEI sent four delegates, one person per training module, who had an opportunity to learn about the best practices of university management, particularly financial management, human resources, administration management and student enrolment and information management systems.
